We are an organization that believes in two dimensions of working. First is to promote our culture along with the fabulous folk art of Ang Pradesh and the Second is to link our artisans with an opportunity to be a successful entrepreneur.
Our legal identity is in the name of a voluntary organization, named Disha Gramin Vikas Manch having its registration under Society Registration Act, 1860, FCRA, 12A and 80G of Income Tax Department. Our strength is the skilled women artisans who have been trained during the last 10 years by the organization. Most of them became master artisans and now they are working to develop a lot of daily utility product with the theme of this art. A group of more than 2000 trained artisans has formed a Manjusha art Activity Based Group Federation to create ample opportunities with this art for our next generation. Some of them has got recognition from the State Govt. Few names like Ulupi Jha, Babita Devi, Ranjana Devi, Indu Devi and Usha Devi are well known personality working on the promotional platform of this art.
